As always, welcome to our website! We have a great deal of exciting news to share these days; mostly revolving around the upcoming release of our second full-length disc! “The Story of People” should be available by or before June!

First, we want to extend our hearts in gratitude to all those who prayed so many sweet prayers for the crafting of the new disc. While in the studio, we daily basked in the glow of answered prayers. We felt so much favor throughout the recording process. That’s not to say we didn’t feel some strain or fill up on humble pie. We did! There are countless instances in the studio when the most fragile aspects of your talents are over-exposed. In those times it’s hard to feel animated or inspired. Those were the times we felt all your prayers! Those were the times we smiled knowing so many of you were lifting us up! So thank you…

Be looking for an email sometime soon announcing the exact release date! Just like our last album, “New Day”, our new disc “The Story of People” will be available on iTunes. Or you can order many, many copies from our website!

Now, with the snow melting up here in the Rocky Mountains, we can finally start playing more shows! So, please keep your eyes open to when we will be rolling through your town! We can’t wait to see many of you again soon, as well as meet many of you for the first time.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for checking out our new website! Our web guy, Doug, is as cool as they come! Anyway, I wanted to give you all a quick update on what theRide has been up to…

We booked studio time this March to begin recording our second full disc. The CD will be called, “The Story of People”. We will be working with both Shawn Lewis (producer) and Kelsey Smith (engineer) again. The band recorded 15 pre-production tunes. After hammering that down it looks like 9 or 10 will make the disc. I also sent Shawn several “GarageBand Spectacular” demo tunes to sort through. It looks like 12 bendy-solid songs will be ready by March! The Lord has led us to the beautiful Pacific Northwest to record! Can’t wait to head out there. We have spent the past few months here in Vail buried in snow…the rain will be a welcome change. As well as some respectable seafood!

The disc should be released by May! Please be praying for us throughout this process. It is very time consuming and spendy. We greatly value your prayers and encouragement! Please pray this new disc might be used to bless those who need it and to further the Kingdom (obviously)! Also pray for Shawn and Kelsey…that their ears will be fresh and that they can handle being locked in tiny rooms with theRide 24/7!

We look forward to your emails, calls, visits, and cookies! Hopefully we can kick this disc out so we can get back to wandering the country a bit! We are so excited to hang with y’all soon!
