About the Boys

Once upon a time, in the golden dusk of Northern Michigan, a band of four musical brothers rode their trusty steeds onto the local music scene. With a sound as wild and free as the open plains, they brought a blend of classic country, southern rock bangers, and heavy rock and roll anthems to every stage their cowboy boots graced. The Ride, as they came to be known, quickly became the talk of the town and beyond. This wave of musical excitement was unleashed by four seasoned desperados, "The Kid" Spencer Oppermann, High Stakes Jake (Jake Allen, The Cookies, The Accidentals) Terry James (Zeal For Days, The Knockauffs) and The Sheriff T. Daniels (Aldrich and Co., A Brighter Bloom). From their signature elaborate entrances to the stage, to their unparalleled four part harmonies, to their down right contagious energy, the boys were quickly packing the dance floors and the local music halls were seeing a resurgence of the golden years of live music. Their versatile sets paid homage to the worlds most beloved bands and artists like Alan Jackson, Luke Combs, Alabama, Metallica, Ozzy, and countless other legends. Just when the audiences thought they couldn't possibly hear another iconic country or rock hit played so well, The Ride would play five more! Currently, the boys are taking on more gigs left and right and turning all those lucky enough to hear em into #riders. Check out The Ride's full origin story in the video below.
